Technical Project Manager - IT ProjectsCompany: SRA GroupLocation: Regina, SK (Hybrid work environment)Term: July 2, 2024 - December 31, 2024Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pmPosition SummarySRA Group is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the Small Modular Reactor (SMR)/Nuclear Development team. This role involves managing information technology projects and requires a strong IT background with experience in cloud and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting a new IT environment, with a significant focus on Microsoft technologies, SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power BI.While consideration for a hybrid work arrangement is available, preference will be given to candidates able to be on-site at least three days per week. Candidates must indicate their availability for on-site work. Nuclear experience is not required.Key Responsibilities Project Management:Plan, track, report, and implement assigned projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.Ensure projects meet or exceed customer expectations.Manage procurement processes.Collaboration:Work closely with Cloud Architects, Developers, Engineers, and end-users.Develop and maintain relationships in a hybrid work environment.Reporting and Documentation:Utilize tracking and project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.Ensure compliance with our client #39;s Project Management framework and templates, aligned with the Canadian nuclear management system.Mandatory CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) or Prince 2 certification.Demonstrated record of continued improvement.Desired CertificationsITILPROSCI certificationIAEA training in security and information technologyMandatory ExperienceOver 5 years as a Technical Project Manager, managing software, infrastructure, and cloud projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.Proficiency in planning projects, setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members.Strong oral and written communication skills.Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.Proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel, MS Visio, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.Working knowledge of Cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.Desired ExperienceExperience with DevOps, IT, Cybersecurity, Data, Development, Architecture, and Operations teams.Experience in change management activities.Proficiency with MS Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power BI.Experience working in a regulated environment.Experience in a document-centric environment.Technical understanding of Cloud infrastructure technologies (AWS, Azure) and other SaaS technologies.Security ClearanceCandidates will be required to pass identity verification, a background check including electronic fingerprinting, and obtain CSIS Level 1 security clearance once the SMR security clearance procedure is implemented.To ApplyPlease submit your resume and a cover letter indicating your availability for on-site work.
