Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY AWAITS YOUThe Supervisor, Guest Experienceamp; Ticket Operations is responsible for assisting the Manager and Assistant Manager of Guest Experienceamp; Ticket Operations in leading the day-to-day service delivery in venues managed by Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) and help to maintain a welcoming and safe environment for all guests.This position will achieve these goals by providing directionsamp; leadership through exceptional customer service and upholding venue policies in a friendly, professional manner and safe. This role will supervise event day staff and assist Management with day-to-day functions, including but not limited to Ticket Sales, Event Booking, Venue Operations, Guest Experience, and Finance to maintain a professional, organized, efficient, effective, and customer friendly experience. WHAT YOU WILL DOSupport Guest Experience Management by:

  • Utilizing Ticketmaster and other applicable ticketing platforms.
  • Assisting with Ticket Buildsamp;Ticket Purchasing Processes.
  • Assisting with the configuration of event builds.
  • Oversee ticket sales and admission scanning execution for events using ticketing system and scanners.
  • Troubleshoot any problems that may arise during event execution, document and action correction in a timely manner.
  • Receive, record and reconcile, debit, credit and special vouchers, as events require.
  • Supervise team on maximizing all sales opportunities during the transaction process through additional product offerings.
Provides internal and external customers with support by:
  • Be able to read tickets and have a firm grasp of the layout of each of REAL #39;s ticketed venues.
  • Assist Guest Relations staff in ensuring that each guest that enters any ticketed event on REAL #39;s property has a valid ticket.
  • Greet, monitor, and navigate movement of guests in assigned areas within the venue to ensure guest safety and compliance with building policy.
  • Limit access to the venue or specific areas to those with proper, valid tickets.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ticket troubleshooting regarding the ticketing system, emailing, printing, transferring, etc.
Lead outstanding customer service.
  • Provide ticket service for inbound calls and follow up on inquiries regarding REAL events.
  • Assisting with ticket needs.
  • Oversee team #39;s visibility and availability to provide superior service for event attendees.
  • Ability to resolve escalated customer service issues brought forward by staff.
Leadershipamp; Teamwork
  • Help create a supportive working environment for the Guest Experience department.
  • Ensure all business unit procedures and systems are maintained at all times.
  • Provide support to the team to ensure efficient completion of job functions.
Other duties as required.This is a casual position and you will be scheduled according to the needs of the business.RequirementsWHAT IT TAKESApply today if you meet the following requirements:Education and Experience
  • A certification in Event Manager, Project Management, Community Engagement or a combination of relevant education, training and experience is considered an assest.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in coordination and supervision of the delivery of large-scale events or, working in a multidisciplinary field.
  • Experience with a CRM system and ticketing systems is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Suites and Event Pro
  • Knowledge of event management
  • Ability to deliver on objectives in stressful environments and fast-paced situations.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to plan, execute and deliver on various simultaneous tasks in a timely manner while working independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must possess an acute attention to detail, creativity and professionalism.
  • Work in areas with exposure to high noise levels.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work irregular hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
