Co-Packing Supervisor – Servicing the Craft Beer/Cider IndustryWe are a growing packaging and materials company based in Fredericton, NB, and Windsor, NS that offers its employees growth opportunities, technical experience, and work in the craft beverage (and yes, that includes beer!) industry.The Company:Craft Coast Canning Ltd. is a mobile craft beverage canning operation that services the Maritime craft beverage market. Although part of our operations is based just outside of Fredericton, we service the entire Maritimes. This role will be primarily at our 59 Melissa St Richibucto Road, Fredericton, NB, locationThe Position:We’re looking for a Co-Packing Supervisor with a valid driver’s license, a clean driver’s abstract & University or College degree. All necessary training will be provided. We offer opportunities to grow and advance your career with a young business as well as engage in a vibrant and exciting industry.Some of the day-to-day responsibilities you can expect with the job are the following:Help leads the scheduling and execution of the production and packaging of a variety of different beverages. Includes: mixing, blending, cellaring, packaging, cleaning/sanitizing, record keeping.Review, write and improve Standard Operating Procedures.Help implements and maintain Preventative Control Plan, HACCP, QC/QA program.Manage supply chain; ordering, receiving, storing, shipping.Maintain/ oversee a high standard of cleaning and organizing in the production facility.The Requirements (Applicants should have the following minimum qualifications):A valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.Background education in Science/ Food Science/ Engineering is considered an assetExperience hauling trailers is considered an asset.Experience driving forklifts is considered an asset.1+ year experience in food production, with Food Safety Certificate, considered an asset.Excellent written and verbal communication.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Able to comfortably spend long periods of time on your feet, lifting, bending, twisting.Flexible work schedule.
