Role Summary of the Sales Support Coordinator:Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales department including executive members and field sales representatives, ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes and related activities. In addition to supporting the Sales group, the role is responsible for managing the company’s fleet of trucks operated by our National Field Team, including documentation and maintenance.Main Responsibilities of the Sales Support Coordinator:Sales Support
  • Assist the sales team in managing and prioritizing leads, prospects, and opportunities in our CRM; work closely with internal teams to support deliverables;
  • Present and maintain key product and promotional activity communication to national sales teams; build presentations to support customer meetings/new product initiatives;
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for key customers;
  • Support the Sales Leadership team with promotional forecasting and scorecard dashboards
  • Managing the stakeholder database and all communication; coordinating and scheduling sales meetings and appointments;
  • Overseecustomer Planograms including updating required changes; provide and schedule customer samples and coordinate new store openings;
  • Support Key Account Managers for all Customer Trade Shows and Customer Events;
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in person, providing accurate information and exceptional service;
  • Prepare and maintain sales-related documents, reports, and presentations.
Fleet Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company fleet program including vehicle procurement/disposal, and compliance and safety management;
  • Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs for all company vehicles; ensure the fleet is in optimal condition;
  • Manage relationships/contracts with 3rd Party maintenance providers;
  • Provide support and guidance to drivers, addressing concerns or issues as they arise;
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle and equipment inventory; monitor fuel consumption, spare parts, and other resources to optimize efficiency and reduce cost;
  • Manage annual fleet budget, including expenses related to maintenance, fuel, vehicle purchases, and other operational costs.
Experience Requirements of the Sales Support Coordinator:
  • Proven experience as a coordinator/fleet manager or similar is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering top-notch service
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in business or a related field is an asset
