We hire to these core values, and if they resonate with you, we encourage you to apply.ECBVerdyol is headquartered in Riverton, Manitoba, Canada.Check us out at https://www.ecb,caOPPORTUNITY:Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of ECBVerdyol and located in Riverton, MB, the incumbent will be experienced, energetic, and career-minded in all aspects of maintenance with a continuous improvement mindset. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the management of all required safety and work regulation policies and shall ensure the efficient use of labour, and machines, and will report on such things as personnel and budgets.Areas of operation in the Riverton plant (roughly 45 employees total) are: care and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, capital projects, regular inspections of the boiler, electrical, compressor, and mechanical rooms, heating, air conditioning, electrical, security, plumbing systems, as well as light welding for repairs and fabrication.JOB DUTIES:· Coordinate maintenance worker efforts to make sure optimal uptime of manufacturing equipment and facilities management, including employer buildings and grounds· Identify areas for improvement and assign workers to accomplish· Develop maintenance schedules the management of· Respond to emergency calls for maintenance· Manage the setup and teardown down of different events· Troubleshooting to solve minor repair issues· Communicate plans for improvements to maintenance worker staff· Manage and schedule 4 maintenance direct reports· Perform administrative tasks as required· Delegate tasks to meet maintenance schedule and satisfy employer needsREQUIREMENTS:· Demonstrated proficiency in written/oral communication in the English language· 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance experience· Red Seal is an asset but not required· 5 + years of people management experience· Agriculture background would be helpful· Valid drivers license· Knowledge of First Aid and CPR preferred· Commitment to quality and safety· Must be alert and resourceful and be able to interact with a cross-section of individualsType of Person Who Will Succeed in this Role· A team player and able to project a strong professional demeanor· Proactive approach to problem-solving· Outgoing – interacts in a socially engaging manner· Enthusiasm and honesty· Sense of urgency – with a high tolerance for ambiguity· Detail-oriented / numbers focused – but with creativity to get the job done· Strong drive to help others…….. and for bottom line results!WHAT WE OFFER:· A dynamic, rapidly growing, award-winning company with the opportunity to take your career to the next level;· A strong corporate culture that is committed to personal and professional growth;· A strong compensation package, including a competitive base, potential performance bonus, and excellent benefits.NEXT STEPS:If you are excited about this opportunity and believe you are qualified to join our team, we would love to hear from you.
