At Cappit Solutions, we offer a range of financial services, including day-to-day bookkeeping, tax preparation, FP amp;A, and CFO services.Position Overview: As a senior accountant at our firm, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing and managing various accounting functions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring engagement files are completed and tax filings are up to date. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting to advance their career in public accounting.Responsibilities:

• Preparation of compilation engagements for clients in a variety of industries
• Analyze and prepare corporate, personal, partnership, and trust tax returns.
• Assist with preparing supporting documents and working papers for compilations, review and audit engagements.
• Coach Junior and Intermediate accountants by providing input and expertise where necessary.
• Actively engage in tax compliance, planning, and strategy development through analysis of your client #39;s tax issues, relevant tax laws, provisions, and jurisprudence.
• Conduct research on tax issues and opportunities.
• Proactively resolve tax-related issues with clients and other staff members through direct communication, collaboration, researching, and drafting responses.
• Work directly with Partners of the firm and communicate directly with clients.
• Capability to handle tasks and work in high-pressure environments to successfully meet deadlines.
• Review the accuracy of work completed by Junior and Intermediate team members.
• Deliver client services with a high degree of professionalism.

Requirements

• You have completed a University Accounting degree.
• You hold a CPA designation.
• You have a minimum of 3-5 years #39; experience in a public accounting firm (required).
• You have technical experience and proficiency with accounting and tax software (i.e., CaseWare, Taxprep, Quickbooks, etc.).
• You have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• You possess excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• You maintain a positive outlook with an enthusiastic manner.
• You have a strong understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work in a team environment.
• You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• You can work both independently and as part of a team.
