Job Description

Central Plains Co-operative Ltd. is recruiting for the position of Fertilizer Coordinator to be based out of the Rosetown Agro Centre. The Fertilizer Coordinator would take a leading role in coordinating the delivery and shipping of fertilizer.Responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with producers through customer sales and events.
  • Responsible for making purchasing decisions and securing the best price for our farmer customers.
  • Coordinate delivery of fertilizer from Central Plains Co-op’s Warehouse, Hanley Fertilizer Facility and Direct to Farm Drops.
  • Blending fertilizer and performing plant maintenance, with the assistance of Yard Operations.
  • Assisting with managing product inventories with our accounting system.
  • Assisting with operations at the Agro location.
  • Assisting with achieving annual department goals to grow the Central Plains Co-op Agro Division.
What you will need:
  • Knowledge of Fertilizer Products and Market
  • Bachelors of Ag or related experience
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Ability to work on your own, and as part of a well integrated team of professionals
  • Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Willing to obtain and maintain a valid Forklift Operator’s and Skid Steer Certification
