At Prairie Centre, we do things differently. Technology is changing the way we serve our members, and the Information Technology Analyst takes pride in translating complex technical ideas for non-technical people. Reporting to the Manager Information Technology, this position advocates for and provides an innovative level of support for all technology users from infrastructure to administration.Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support for all technology stakeholders by proactive problem solving and responsive service delivery
  • Deliver optimized functionality to allow end users to provide world-class service in a timely fashion
  • Empower technology users to learn, be curious, and become energized by your passion to exceed expectations and maximize the value technology provides in the member service experience
  • Understand that there are many moving parts in an organization, and you will need to navigate and align with multiple departments to ensure success
  • Have a passion for sharing ideas that enhance the Information Department vision
  • Create and implement competitive and breakthrough strategies consistent with Prairie Centre’s strategic direction
  • Build value-based relationships with people around you, as you understand the importance of relating well with people up, down, sideways, inside, and outside of the organization

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology, or related field
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server, Unitrends, MS Exchange, VMWare, Active Directory, and network infrastructure
  • Solid troubleshooting skills complemented by exceptional analytic abilities and attention to detail
  • Project management experience is an asset, notably with a goal of simplifying the end user experience
  • Eagerness to learn and acquire new skills through professional experience and technical training
  • Desire to grow your career within the Information Division through succession opportunities
Flexible and/or extended work hours may be required at times.
