Soileos is our first product: a cellulose-based smart micronutrient fertilizer offering higher yields while improving soil health.Who we’re looking for: A reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic Regional Sales Representative in Saskatchewan to join our growing team. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for customer account management, product demand generation, sales targets, and technical sales support for growers and retailers. This role will be a key part of the Business Development team and represent our brand within the community and surrounding service area.Your responsibilities: As a member of the Business Development Team, your primary responsibilities include:- Identify, direct outreach, and qualify prospective retailers and growers through a systematic business development program;- Build, develop and maintain effective relationships with existing retailers and growers throughout the assigned territory;- Provide support and knowledge of Lucent Bio products to retailers and growers;- Find solutions to issues by assisting, coaching, and training growers on the Lucent Bio products;- Plan, present, and organize client meetings and marketing events;- Participate in trade shows, field days, and grower meetings;- Undertake assigned sales, marketing, and agronomic training.You’ll be a great match if you have these skills & experience: - You have a minimum bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related field;- You bring at least three (3) years of experience within the commercial division of Ag Business;- You bring knowledge of crop inputs including agronomics, agricultural technology, and latest trends in crop production;- You are customer-oriented, with the ability to respect and earn the respect of farmers and channel partners;- You enjoy building rapport and relationships with clients;- You take pride in being a self-motivated person, fast learner, team player, and creative problem solver;- You are friendly and personable with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;- You have excellent documentation and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail;- You can successfully juggle multiple tasks and have outstanding time management skills.Your compensation + benefits- A competitive base salary- 2-weeks of vacation- Extended health coverage- Long-term disability coverage- In-house training provided by Lucent BioSciencesWhy work for Lucent Bio- The culture is dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial;- Your coworkers are collaborative, proactive, and interesting;- Your compensation is comprehensive, competitive, and can include benefits like extended health insurance;- Your diversity is valued.
