Job Description

We’re hiring for busy warehouse transportation company in business for 40 years as a forklift operator in weekday’s and supervisor on weekend for full time positionShift can be morning or Afternoon hoursDuties and Responsibilities

  • Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the warehouse
  • Load and unloading goods from trailers or other trucks
  • Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the warehouse
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
  • Checking loads are secure * Stacking empty pallets
  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the forklift battery and lubricating equipment
  • Practice and promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures
  • Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
  • Examining stock to verify conformance to quality standards when received
  • Other duties related to goals of warehouse Qualification requirements Ideally you High School diploma or equivalent with good math, language and reading skills to interrupt orders and shipments. Good record keeping skills for operation of equipment. Clean driving record and a valid license and Forklift certification per OSHA standards.
Physical Requirements Regular sitting on a powered industrial truck; lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time; have a good sense of balance with hand and foot coordination with ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.
