Job Description

  • Create loads in SAP, order entry into SAP
  • Ensure timely and accurate dispatching and scheduling of deliveries
  • Upload and download DMS transactions to capture all sales documents – every dispatch of a truck
  • Ensure all required dispatch work is complete, loads ready, paperwork/trip sheets complete, etc.
  • Fleetwave – mileage entries
  • Fleet card expense management
  • Ensure entry of daily trip ships into ezLabour daily is completed. Complete payroll and hours of service daily
  • Maintain a fleet of road ready equipment
  • Work with drivers to ensure that enough trucks
  • Determine best method of completing shipments based on available driver hours
  • Audit Trip sheets and drivers logs to ensure proper MOT compliance
  • Fleetnet transaction capture and sales reporting (into equipment fills)
  • Maintain truck files for NSC / TDG requirements
  • Weekly - tailgate sessions
  • Responsible to ensure that all Transportation is operating based on safety standards.
  • Standards must be met for Transport Canada which is subject to external audit.
  • Maintains all EH&S related files for drivers, trucks and National Safety Code compliance
  • Perform random audits to ensure compliance with safety and compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain Accurate files
  • Driver files for compliance
  • Equipment files
  • POD’sWork with the IT department to ensure proper systems (SAP) in place to manage the day to day logistics operation.
  • Ensure that all staff complete and maintain procedures manuals to ensure back-up support

What you will bring:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years prior logistics and supply management experience
  • Proficiency in Work/Excel, good keyboarding skills
  • Excellent telephone/communication/people skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of AS400 and Transplus systems desired
