The planner will coordinate with both US and Canadian dispatch to ensure fleet operations run smoothly and efficiently. Duties include:- Broadly, supervising and planning company logistics- Establishing the availability of drivers to transport loads- Scheduling appointments for pick-up and delivery times- Engaging with our customers and provide excellent service- Adjusting plans as required- Managing all relevant records and documentation- Collaborating with the larger operational team to ensure operational functionalityQualifications: - 1 year or more experience working in a dispatch and/or logistics related role is ideal- Diploma or certificate from an accredited educational institution in one of the following is considered a strong asset:o Business administrationo Logisticso Supply chain managemento Transportation management- At least a basic knowledge of transportation related documents and procedures- Excellent collaboration and communication skills- Able to problem solve and think critically- Able to work in a high pressure environment and meet tight deadlinesWhat we offer: - Extended health and dental plan- Competitive salary and room for advancement- Friendly and inviting work environment- On-site parkingHow to apply: - Please submit a resume online or in person at our headquarters located at 310 Eagle drive Winnipeg, MB.
