Our 2,600 employees are the driving force of our activities and we strive to surround ourselves with dedicated individuals who are proactive and take on responsibility and aim to become leaders in their field.Join us and let #39;s grow together.About the Position:Reporting to the Environmental Director for the copper operations in the North America and Philippines region (NACAP), you have the delegated responsibility to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in the region in understanding environmental performance (water, air, soil) and developing and monitoring action plans to improve environmental performance. You will be required to analyze data, investigate sources, and evaluate solutions.More specifically, you will be tasked with:

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams in the region for the development, implementation, and monitoring of actions to improve environmental performance.
  • Analyze measurement data to monitor the performance of sectors, equipment, and/or projects.
  • Identify and evaluate improvement opportunities.
  • Review consultant reports.
  • Compile and present information in the form of reports and presentations.
  • Occasionally visit different sites based on projects (San Jose (USA), Rhode Island (USA), Rouyn-Noranda (CAN), Montreal-Est (CAN), Isabella (Philippines)).
Skills:
  • You possess a university degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or another relevant discipline with relevant industry experience.
  • You have excellent analytical and synthesis skills and are highly autonomous.
  • You are organized and a team player.
  • You are bilingual and have excellent writing skills.
  • You are proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
