We believe in and support opportunities for growth & development, teamwork, and engagement.Project Location: Bagotville, QuebecEmployment: This position is approximately a 3-year term with potential for extension and/ or permanent employment.Your New RoleReporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager is responsible for supporting the estimating, project management, and site project execution functions on each assigned project. This includes safety, schedule, cost management, change management, quality control, sub-contractor management, project documentation and all submittals.Your DutiesWhile the Project Manager is responsible for a multitude of duties, the main functions include:

  • Managing the complete life cycle of the project including managing of the design team, scheduling and budget.
  • Managing and maintaining the project schedule to assure deadlines are met on time.
  • Managing change requests and overseeing the execution of change orders.
  • Completing internal and external monthly reports to stakeholders and various team members.
  • Attend pre-job site visits and mark-up and/or kick-off meetings as required.
  • In conjunction with the Health and Safety Officer, communicate and enforce Sullivan’s safety standards.
  • Provide support as required to on-site staff with dispute resolution and other identified issues.
  • Monitor supplier and sub-trade performance throughout the project, complete supplier and sub-trade evaluations as required by the quality program.
  • In support to the Project Coordinator, request and coordinate project close-out documentation including warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.
  • Works with the Superintendent(s) at the start of each project and throughout the project’s life cycle to review project scope, finances, methodology, construction drawings and specifications.
  • Assists the Quality Department in the development of the project specific quality management plan and ensures its implementation by all the project’s team members.
Safety
  • Commits to a high standard of procedural safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicates and enforces safety standards in conjunction with the Construction Health and Safety Officer.
Quality
  • Adheres to all processes and procedures in the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensures the quality of product produced reflects the QMS and The Sullivan core values.
What you will need to succeed
  • 3-5 years of experience in the ICI construction industry as a Project Manager or building-related work.
  • Post-Secondary education in construction management, engineering or architectural technology preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or comparable project management certification is an asset.
  • Bilingual is an asset (French and English both in verbal, written in English).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret level Government security clearance.
