Job Description

Your mission:Lead a team of developers and participate in the design, development, and evolution of microservices, APIs and reusable libraries for the execution of our AI algorithms in mission critical production environment. In an Agile project approach, identify tech debt, help team tackle challenging problems, and iterate fast.What you’ll do here:

  • Deliver quality products by applying best practices to ensure system security, efficiency, resilience, and sustainability
  • Work with architect, security, and infrastructure team to assure a flexible system design that can evolve over time
  • Guide the team through technical challenges and be their mentor
  • Keep backlog organized together with the Product Owner, by providing technical insights on user requests and tech debt
  • Trouble-shooting issues in production when situation emerges

You have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, computer science or software engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of significant experience in development of enterprise grade software solutions
  • Proficient in python language and a good understanding of programming languages such as Java
  • Good understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithm design techniques
  • Experienced with machine learning libraries and tools such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, MLflow, etc.
  • Experienced with software engineering life cycle and agile methodologies.
  • Experienced in developing containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Experienced with modern DevOps tools such as Gitlab CI/CD, ELK stack and Grafana
Assets:
  • Familiarity with machine learning and data processing frameworks such as XGBoost, TensorFlow or Spark
  • Familiarity with data storage and warehousing technologies such as Snowflake, MongoDB, S3
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies such as Kinesis, Lambda and CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with event streaming or message queue systems such as Kafka
