Req ID: 383302Maskatel Group LP is a Bell Canada company that specializes in regional telecommunications, offering Internet access, digital television and telephony to both residential and business customers.Headquartered in Saint-Hyacinthe, Maskatel includes four telecommunications companies: Compagnie de Téléphone Upton Inc., Compagnie de Téléphone de St-Victor, Compagnie de Téléphone de St-Ephrem and Télécommunications Xittel, serving residential and commercial customers in several areas of Quebec. With massive investments of tens of millions of dollars in recent years, Maskatel is undergoing a period of great growth as it continues to expand its fiber optic network so as to improve its offering and customer experience.Job Summary:Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the person occupying the position of Coordinator, Talent Acquisition, ensures the complete staffing cycle for all positions in the organization and participates in the recruitment strategy. They act as an ambassador for the Maskatel brand, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and collaborating with the HR team on various projects. More specifically, they will be required to:

  • Perform the full staffing cycle for all positions in the company, including preparing and distributing job postings internally and externally on the various recruitment platforms, assessing applications received, communicating with candidates for pre-selection telephone interviews, carrying out pre-employment checks and preparing job offers.
  • Participate in the onboarding of new employees.
  • Create employee files and track and file them.
  • Maintain professional relationships with candidates and stakeholders, both internal and external, by acting as the main point of contact in terms of recruitment.
  • Participate in the development of various recruitment strategies and leverage brand image (HR marketing), including by creating visuals and ensuring a presence on social media.
  • Ensure competitive intelligence and stay abreast of market trends in terms of human resources.
  • Participate in the drafting of various documents, such as policies, procedures, press releases, mainly using the Office suite.
  • Coordinate the logistics and organization of various activities (e.g. employee information sessions, etc.).
  • May be called upon to collaborate on certain files in human resources management.
  • Produce and analyze reports, including those concerning indicators and labor needs and movements, (mainly in Excel).
  • May be called upon to participate in events in terms of human resources and recruitment (e.g. job fair).
  • Participate in any other related task within the HR team.
Desired Qualifications and Profile:
  • University degree in human resources (or combination of education and experience deemed equivalent).
  • 1 to 3 years of work-related experience.
  • Functional bilingualism (French/English, spoken and written).
  • Excellent level of French grammar and spelling and writing skills.
  • Experience or interest in social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Very high standards of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills, dynamic, enjoys working as part of a team, excellent time management and good organizational skills.
  • Autonomy, creativity, great attention to detail, discipline and resourcefulness.
  • Experience with recruitment platforms (asset).
  • Member of the CRHA (asset).

Terms of Employment:
  • Full-time position (40h/week), Monday to Friday.
  • Long-term temporary status, with the possibility that it becomes permanent.
  • Mobile/hybrid work profile at a rate of 2 to 3 days/week (attached to the Saint-Hyacinthe office).
