Job DescriptionReporting to the ERP Manger, the Functional Analyst D365 will have an important role in the implementation of D365 F&O. Working closely with internal Subject Matter Experts and 3rd parties, will assist in the implementation, analysis and other tasks related to our ERP re-implementation. We are looking for someone who has a strong grasp and quick understanding of business processes. From procure to pay, quote to cash, manufacture to stock, all aspects of the business will be reviewed.You will have the opportunity to:
  • Work with subject matter experts to capture business needs; understand the customer journey and define detailed user requirements to enhance the upgrade to our ERP system;
  • Influence project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands;
  • Act as an intermediary between business and IT by using a deep understanding of business processes and technology to help business partners achieve their desired outcomes;
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document current and future state processes by creating functional specification documents, process flows, etc.;
  • Be involved in the governance process and change control management by using best practices for prioritization, requirements gathering, QA, UAT and end user training;
  • Provide feedback around efficacy of existing processes;
  • Review existing processes and outline transition to new processes in new system;
  • Work with department leads and VAR (ERP Implementation Partner) to understand their requirements and outline business processes (transition to new system);
  • Support the process of continuous updates from Microsoft, as well as additional internal updates, by testing and documenting additional features and changes.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years experience with ERP systems, Dynamics 365 F&O an asset;
  • 1-3 years business analysis and project management experience;
  • 3+ years experience working in a manufacturing setting;
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field an asset;
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform a plus;
  • Knowledge manipulating data in ERP/Data Migration experience (SQL, DMF)
  • Great communications skills both verbal and written; [English and French]
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with business users throughout the organization to gather and interpret requirements;
  • Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes;
  • Confident ability to lead meetings;
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced working environment and adaptable to changing priorities;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies;
  • Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases;
  • Strong problem resolution skills.
