Job Description

Job DescriptionAs a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for providing front-line HR support to our employees and managers in Quebec and to the HR team, everyday will be different and provide a new challenge. You will be responsible to coordinate and deploy HR projects and initiatives and be responsible for several recruitment files. Day in the life:A typical Monday starts with a quick touchpoint with the HR team to go over the week’s priorities. An employee might come in unannounced with a question on benefits or their latest paystub. Then, a quick meeting with a manager who needs support on an employee’s career path and a future promotion. The afternoon is booked to run reports, conduct an exit interview and for headhunting. Your day ends with phone interviews and drafting a contract for a new employee. It’s just Monday! Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in career development and planning, performance management and employee relations;
  • Plan and coordinate the integration/onboarding of new employees (equipment, reception, orientation sessions, welcome emails, etc.;
  • Foster genuine relationships with all Quebec employees as well as business leaders across the organization;
  • Responsible to organise and coordinate language group courses;
  • Participate in employer brand awareness activities and events (career fairs, internship programs, employee recognition events, etc.);
  • Develops and maintains various processes and activities (performance management, employee surveys, trainings, exit interview, processes, etc.);
  • Participate in recruitment activities (eligible to recruitment commissions $$$)
  • Perform a variety of admin tasks such as running reports, preparing and translating various communications, prepare employee documents such as contracts, confirmations, etc)
