Job Description

Veolia Water Technologiesamp; Solutions (WTS) est le leader mondial de la recuperation, du traitement et de la reutilisation de l #39;eau. Nous concevons et fournissons une gamme de systemes d #39;eau, allant des applications alimentaires ainsi que de boissons, a l #39;eau municipale, en passant par l #39;eau ultra-pure pour la microelectronique et le traitement des eaux usees de l #39;industrie lourde. Notre portefeuille de technologies comprend la clarification physique/chimique, la filtration sur membrane et sur support, l #39;echange d #39;ions, l #39;electrolyse, la digestion, l #39;evaporation, la desinfection a l #39;ozone/UV et bien d #39;autres encore.Nous recherchons un Ingenieur en electronique de puissance. Dans ce role, vous participerez au developpement et a l #39;amelioration de nos convertisseurs de puissances de hautes technologies. Vous travaillerez en etroite collaboration avec notre equipe hardware et software pour assurer le developpement de produits performants.Responsabilties:

  • Concevoir et mettre en oeuvre des convertisseurs de puissance de haute technologies dans l #39;ordre de 4 kW a 200 kW
  • Concevoir des architectures et des circuits electroniques de puissance ainsi que leurs algorithmes de controle
  • Selectionner les composantes de puissance tel que MOSFETS, IGBT, SiC ainsi que les composantes magnetiques
  • Etudier et simuler les algorithmes de control et circuits de puissance en utilisant Matlab/Simulink et autres outils tel que LTSpice
  • Developper des prototypes afin de valider la conception
  • Collaborer avec l #39;equipe logiciel embarque ainsi que electronique sur le developpement et verification du produits
  • Preparer la documentation de conception, procedure de test, et documents de specifications du produit.
Qualifications:
  • Diplome universitaire en genie electronique de puissance niveau PhD
  • Minimum de 3 ans d #39;experience en electronique de puissance et algorithmes de controle un milieu industriel
  • Experience avec la conceptions de convertisseur de puissance
  • Grande capacite a analyser, enregistrer et interpreter les donnees d #39;essai pour determiner l #39;acceptabilite du produit
  • Experience des normes internationales en matiere de reglementation et de securite des produits serait un plus
  • Bonne capacite de communication en anglais et en francais (ecrit, parle).

We are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to work on the next generation of high-tech power converters/inverters. You will work collaboratively with our Hardware and Software team to ensure the development of high-performance products.As Power Electronics Engineer, your main responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
  • Support the design, development, and testing of high-tech power converters in the 4kW to 200kW power range
  • Design power electronics architectures and control loop algorithms
  • Design and select components (MOSFETS, IGBT, SiC, magnetics, etc.) for AC/DC/AC converters with variable frequency output
  • Design, model, and simulate control loops and power circuits using simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, and other tools (LTSpice, etc.)
  • Develop prototypes to mitigate key development risks
  • Work closely with firmwareamp; hardware designers on product development
  • Generate engineering documentation in support of design activities and customer requirements, including specifications, test procedures and reports, failure reports, and design analysis
What you require to be successful in the role:
  • Possession of a PhD degree in power electronics engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in power electronics circuits and control design
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience designing control loops and applications with Matlab/Simulink
  • Demonstrated application of electronic theory, principles of electrical circuits, testing procedures and related knowledge to construct and debug power electronics circuitry in relation to the design of power conversion equipment
  • Strong ability to analyze, record, and interpret test data to determine product acceptability
  • Experience with international regulatory and product safety standards would be a plus
  • Good communication skills in both English and French (speaking, writing).
