Job Description
  • Assist project managers and the R&D team in completing the full cycle of assigned projects;
  • Assist with product development and new material testing in the laboratory;
  • Assist with research related to product development;
  • Contact and obtain materials needed for laboratory projects;
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of activities related to the implementation of new or modified existing projects;
  • Assist in providing innovative ideas and solutions for problems that arise.
Qualifications
  • Education related to technology, science, project management, engineering, instrumentation or supply chain management, an asset;
  • Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken, as our suppliers are located in Canada, USA, and Europe;
  • Knowledge of the concrete industry, an asset;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • A combination of analytical and practical execution experience is essential;
  • Proficiency in the Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) ;
  • Ability to learn new software applications;
  • Excellent research skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, growing environment with many competing priorities and deadlines;
  • General interest and passion for learning and absorbing new information ;
  • Ability to be self-directed, proactive and creative ;
  • This is a physically demanding position. You will be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23 kg).
