Assessment information:

• A variety of tools and methods may be used to assess candidates, including, but not limited to, written tests, interviews and/or reference checks.

• Determine employee compensation entitlements.
• Analyse, prepare and process compensation transaction requests.
• Conduct research and analysis into individual employee compensation status and entitlements under federal and provincial acts, regulations, programs, collective agreements, pension and insurance plans, etc.
• Interpret and apply Human Resources policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Provide advice and individual guidance to clients on compensation options, coverage and costs.
• Analyze, clarify, document and apply changes in federal and provincial acts, regulations, programs, collective agreements, pension and insurance plans, etc., affecting employees #39; compensation.
• Compile, maintain and update records of compensation activities and decisions in Human Resources Management Information Systems and maintains associated hard-copy files, electronic back up, records and correspondence.

• ED1:Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of training, education and/or experience*.
• Acceptable combination is described as experience in similar position or certificate programs related to Human resources or Administration.

Degree equivalency️EXPERIENCE:

• EXP1: Experience in providing client service*.
• EXP2:Experience using computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
