Job DescriptionReporting to the Director, Manufacturing and R&D, the Coordinator will provide support in the advancement of special projects in the Manufacturing and R&D department and will provide support to the Director. We’re looking for someone who is organized, upbeat, detail-oriented and ready to take on new challenges. This role will give you the opportunity to learn and grow while having an impact on the business. In addition, you will get a chance to work with a team of passionate, knowledgeable and experienced professionals from the manufacturing sector. You’ll expand your career development by being part of a « sky’s the limit » culture driven by collaboration, out of the box thinking and data driven decisions.
  • Participate and engage in the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the department;
  • Create, verify and analyze various reports and identify operational issues through data analysis;
  • Coordinate and maintain data integrity for the department in the upgraded ERP system;
  • Assisting with project management by creating assignments, tracking progress, and resolving issues;
  • Communicate with corporate and regional staff and prepare various communications in both official languages;
  • Proactively provide administrative support;
  • Plan purchases for various projects;
  • Prepare statistical summaries and minutes;
  • Prepare information for various executive-level presentations and communications;
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • College diploma or relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (English is required in order to service our customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec).
  • Ability to effectively look for answers to be able to respond to questions from all levels within the company and third parties.
  • Ability to help solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations, can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adaptability.
  • Strong organization skills and team player.
  • Structured, reliable, and communicate efficiently with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
