  • Be responsible for preparing, controlling and performing software tests as well as providing support during tests.
  • Work with the Project/Agile teams to ensure testing coverage is completely taking into consideration any downstream impacts, obtaining SME and peer feedback.
  • Design and develop test strategies for moderate to complex problems in order to achieve a specific test requirement to address all testing phases understanding the impact on testing with parallel development activities.
  • Write and execute test scripts.
  • Responsible for developing high quality automated test cases that are reusable for strategic systems. Identifies reusable modules and components within the application automation scripts.
  • Lead the team during testing phase and coordinate with external teams.
  • Do estimates for testing phase in support of the project planning process, including required tools, resources and SMEs (ex: test automation, performance testing, etc.).
  • Create and maintain in testing documentation and tools.
  • Proposes a working organization to improve efficiency.
  • Act to improve systems, workflow and profitability through the software testing and analysis.
  • Communicate in the progress of his/her tasks and those under his/her supervision and technical or business issues.
  • Build and support project implementation plans.
  • May participate in concept, standards and quality control procedures development as well.
What you bring to the table:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Solid understanding of testing processes, methodologies and tools available in market
  • Experience writing test scripts using SQL
  • Working experience with TOAD, ALM and automation tools (Jenkins, Git)
  • Thorough understanding of agile framework. Kanban and/or Scrum.
  • Comfortable working in complex environments and multidisciplinary teams
  • Motivated and self managed individual with good communication skills
  • Have creative thinking and analytical approach
  • Fast learner, versatile and a good team player
