Job Description

Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:- ANDON electrical support for the assembly and manufacturing cells.- Review and approval of ECNs for the manufacturing specialist team- Technical assessor and trainer for team members- Implement improvements in our processes, products and tools by applying Lean principles.- CAD and drafting using E2A and MicroStation PowerDraft.- Main representative and stakeholder for engineering DFx activities, PCCB and PdCCB.- Leadership position on a team focused on customer needs.- Entirely independent in generating solutions to complex issues.- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings according to ANSI Y14.5 standards.- Must be able to actively participate in an environment with several stakeholders and duties.Qualifications:- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in the field.- Engineer - member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec- Experience in an ANDON support environment is a major asset.- Electrical knowledge for design and drafting.- Knowledge of the E2A CAD tool and of 2D MicroStation PowerDraft.- Knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma tools.- Basic knowledge of the MS Office Suite.- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with interdisciplinary teams.- Knowledge of Excel and PowerBI an asset.- Ability to manage priorities, work on several projects at once, stay on schedule and meet tight deadlines.- Bilingualism an asset.- Work environment : Mainly in person, hybrid office and shop floor; remote work 1-2 days per week, depending on business requirements.CAE offers:- An environment where your initiatives will be recognized and valued.- The opportunity to work on a variety of projects in a multidisciplinary team.- A flexible schedule.- Possibility of telework.- Attractive benefits.Come share your passion with us!With more than 13,000 employees in 40 countries, CAE is a world leader in training in the fields of civil aviation, defense and security, and healthcare.
