Ask us what we do, and we’ll tell you: “We live to create inspiring artscapes.”Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a talented thinker, writer and communicator with great initiative, a good understanding of the big picture with the ability to break it down, into a clever caption. Make connections, and we’re not just talking about friends and followers. Our ideal person for the job sees the opportunity for great content in any photo, written word or even, conversation. Working closely with the creatives, web strategists and sales teams, we want you to participate in creating rich content that inspires, informs and guides people in their design decisions. Then, wrap it all into a well-thought out strategy that is beautifully executed on every digital platform. We want you to forge social media relationships, identify influencers, seek out digital-editorial opportunities with relevant blogs and see how you can squeeze digital real-estate out of our print publishers. Track & measure results, create reports about the fantastic work you’re doing and all the opportunities of how we can make it even better.Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Tasks related to creating social media strategies and reports;
  • Help develop independent content strategies by platform (Facebook, Twitter, Houzz, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.);
  • Create, curate and manage all digitally published content based on research and analysis;
  • Create social media calendar and collaborate with the Content Manager to establish content strategies and calendars;
  • Pull data from various sources using a range of web analytics tools;
  • Perform competitive analyses to identify actionable competitive trends & insights;
  • Staying on top of the latest ad tech, as well as content marketing best practices (SEO should be your best friend!).
Qualifications
  • Familiar with social media best practices and advertising, and comfortable navigating various social platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Houzz, etc.);
  • Strong understanding of web analytics principles and concepts;
  • Familiar with SEO analysis and best practices;
  • Strong understanding of marketing attribution models, landing page optimization, A/B testing and other related concepts;
  • Facebook Business Tools (Power Editor, Analytics, Audiences, Catalogs, etc.);
  • Bilingual (English and French): strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights;
  • Strong presentation skills.
