This position has a high level of interaction with cross-functional departments, including Sales, Product Specialists, Product Development, and Logistics / Supply Chain. This role will be located in Saint John, NB, Canada.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and execution of the marketing plans.- Develop content strategy and execution of Foodservice or Retail selling solutions- Create and publish marketing materials (POS materials, presentations, advertising)- Lead the planning and implementation of promotional campaigns- Provide marketing support for customer presentations, customer visits, events, and trade shows- Lead go-to-market plan for new product launches- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant team members are kept informed of marketing objectives- Report on new product performance, promotional activity tracking and marketing initiative updates.- Provide marketing support for customer and sales requests/inquiriesQualifications:- 2-5 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in the food industry- A strong understanding of the US and Canadian foodservice or retail markets- Strong project management, time management, and multi-tasking skills- An understanding of the sales process and willingness to participate in customer meetings- The ability to roll up your sleeves, clearly communicate objectives with the cross-functional team, and lead by example are characteristics that will bring you success in this role.Salary commensurate with experience which includes a competitive health and dental benefit package.The OpportunityThe role description is just one part of the story.
