Job Description

As a global-leading health and well-being provider - encompassing physical, mental and financial health - TELUS Health is improving health outcomes for consumers, patients, healthcare professionals, employers and employees.The Billing Systems Analyst role will be supporting our Finance Department and will be reporting to the Manager, Finance at TELUS Health.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Full scope MSH billing - retainer (advance and arrears), FFS, terminations, and new business.
  • Prepare Symphoni change report updates for Canada and US retainer.
  • Monitor and maintain the current status of two shared mailboxes.
  • Gather data to complete all steps related to terminations from the prior month #39;s transactions where the end date was updated in Workday.
  • Create master data for Billing contacts and locations, but as a member of the Billing team, you will then update the Workday contract with the master data you just created
  • The above responsibilities are for existing business contracts and customers.
  • Review, understand and eliminate any Billing errors caused by the Billing team.
  • This would include creating documentation and training on new processes to ensure the error doesn #39;t repeat.
Requirements:
  • Commitment to privacy and ethical conduct
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Introductory knowledge of cloud ERP such as Workday or SAP, an asset
  • Billing experience in the service industry is an asset
  • Ability to prioritize based on organizational needs
  • Demonstrated commitment to team success
