Position Summary Are you someone who has a real passion for helping others Are you a registered Dietitian looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Nutrition Services department. Provides dietetic services to inpatients, and residents of Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa collaborates with inter-disciplinary team members, and other health care professionals/providers to achieve excellence in nutritional health services and education. Maintains standards of dietetic practice. Performs administrative duties as assigned.Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 07:30 to 15:30Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre is a 46-bed hospital with 115 residential care beds in the adjoining Peace Villa Care Home. They have two state of the art operating rooms, ambulatory clinics including cancer care and hemodialysis, emergency and ICU, a birthing centre with single maternity rooms for labour, delivery, and post-partum.Fort St. John is located above the Peace River Valley, and has a diverse population of 21,000 (2021) and serves an area of approximately 69,000. Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Dietetics plus one year’s internship at an accredited institute.• Membership in the College of Dietitians of British Columbia. Reserved Acts A and B• Eligibility for membership in the Dietitians of Canada. Two (2) years experience.Skills and Abilities: • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
