Working closely with colleagues in Sales/Marketing, Distribution and IT, this role focuses on harnessing the power of data analytics and technology to drive business growth, improve decision-making processes, and enhance operational efficiency, while also ensuring data integrity and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.It will be key for this role to understand deeply our business objectives and leverage our digital roadmap to help deliver against these objectives. This work includes building and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and process excellence.Reporting to the VP of Business Performance, your responsibilities include:Technology Enablement/Optimization- Enable technology through management of core sales technology tools, platforms, and systems that enable efficient process, data collection, analysis, and reporting.- Ensure North American Sales has the necessary tools to support data-driven decision-making and business analytics initiatives. This includes evaluating and adopting emerging technologies and solutions to stay ahead in the field through collaboration with IT.- Digital adoption and engagement through partnership with business units to leverage existing capabilities or fill capability gaps to execute on strategies and tactics to drive business performance- Identify and prioritize the implementation of key optimization opportunities to improve business outcomes- Lead a cross-functional team of business SME #39;s in exploringamp; leveraging the capabilities of our business systems- Participate in the regression testing of technology upgrades- Facilitate and lead effective discussions during meetings with stakeholders and cross functional teams to drive technology enhancements and value to the business- Identify, advance, and remove roadblocks on technology tools/system issues- Responsible for day-to-day delivery and personnel development for the Analyticsamp; Business Enablement team- Identify and drive operational efficiencies and automation across technology platforms- Collaborate with IT to build, implement and maintain technology roadmaps- Partner with the Director, Business Improvement to design standard processes that fully leverage the capabilities of our technology solutionsData Analytics- Responsible for leading the development and implementation of data analytics strategies and solutions that help extract meaningful insights from data within North American Sales- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, industry challenges, growth opportunities, customer experience needs through workshops, audits, and research- Promote data analytics to identify areas of improvement, optimize business processes, and enhance operational efficiency.- Leverage technology and data-driven solutions, to help drive cost reduction, revenue growth, and overall business performance enhancement.- Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance.- Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality.- Work towards improving data quality and standardization across systems within the department- Establish a business reporting governance framework that includes a center of excellence and a community of practitioners- Identify and prioritize key performance metrics, benchmarks, and targets to evaluate and optimize business outcomes- Oversee the design, creation, and optimization of clear, easily comprehended, and actionable dashboards and visualizations to support strategic objectives and initiatives- Translate data into compelling, actionable insights and stories- Generate integrated performance reports comprised of insights derived from diverse data sources including marketing campaigns, salesamp; inventory data, CRM, and external data sources- Specify methodology, tool selection, and implementation requirements to enable measurement and ongoing process refinement- Measureamp; track reduction in manual effort and the related organizational savingsSkills and experience required:- 5+ years of experience in reportingamp; analytics, CRM, or related discipline- Bachelor #39;s degree in business administration, computer science or equivalent- Experience in creating and execution of strategic roadmaps- Management of a team- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to relay complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders- Experience with DevOps, change management, Six Sigma considered an assetCooke offers full-time year round employment, competitive rates and a competitive benefits package which includes health and dental as well as a company matched pension.The OpportunityThe role description is just one part of the story.
