FINANCE STUDENTFINANCIAL PLANNINGamp; ANALYSIS: PART-TIME / COOP POSITION (SAWMILLS)

Your Opportunity:Students with a strong interest in how the operations work and driving improvement will be successful in this role as a Finance Associate. This position develops subject-matter expertise, as well as competency in leadership, big picture thinking, collaboration, and communication while gaining valuable real-world experience.Your Responsibilities:We are looking for the right candidate and will tailor the schedule and role based on the individual interests of the person.Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration degree program (finished or completing 2nd year)
  • A student in good standing and returning to school in Winter 2025.
  • Assist FP amp;A team with various reporting and analysis requests
  • Communicate with stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and develop quickly. No experience is required but preference for any background in math, business statistics and modelling
  • High preference for problem-solving skills in complex or ambiguous situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel) is required
  • High energy, motivated individual
  • Team player; must be able to collaborate and work with others in a respectful manner
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excel at producing highly detailed, quality work
  • Are self-motivated; works well independently without minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage several files at the same time
  • Other duties as required
