Job Description

As an HR Operations Manager, your role will closely align with the business line leader and serves as an HR advisor and coach. Your primary responsibilities involve overseeing day-to-day HR activities within your designated business line. This includes creating and implementing an HR Operations plan to support the business in achieving its objectives. Additionally, you #39;ll lead a team of HR professionals, serving as both risk managers and problem solvers who can anticipate and address challenges and opportunities affecting your business area. Collaboration with colleagues across different business lines is crucial, and you should be adept at identifying and raising concerns related to potential risks that could significantly impact our people and HR plans.What We Offer:

Your Responsibilities:
  • Leads and manages the performance of a team of HR Operations professionals (HRBPs), including the creation and execution of development plans, goal setting and on-going coaching and assessment.
  • Translates how the HR Operations plan supports the HR strategic business plan to team members (including planned HR initiatives)
  • Participates in operational planning processes. Responsible for understanding the Operating Plan for designated business line and developing and executing a supporting Human Resources Operating Plan that focuses on the execution of HR programming and risk reduction working in tandem with corporate centres.
  • Leads the workforce planning process for business line and partner with Talent Acquisition team to develop and support a recruitment plan including the resources to deliver against it, identification of risks and mitigation plans to reduce risk.
  • Acts as a strategic thought partner and coach to designated business line leader(s).
  • Manages and advises of implications of Human Resource risk to the business line focussed on Employee Relations and Legislative/compliance challenges.
  • Participates in the annual HR strategic planning process.
  • Supports and leads the business through organizational change and focuses on improving organizational effectiveness.
  • Partners with the business line lead and ensures accountability to the workforce plan to support current and future people needs.
  • In partnership with the Talent Management team supports and implements all programming related to Recruitment (onboarding/offboarding), Retention, Career Pathing, Talent Development (Learningamp; Capability), Talent Mobility, Leadership Development to ensure consistency across their operating area.
  • Leads the business through all talent management cycles (i.e. Succession Planning, Workforce Planning, Annual Compensation Planning and Performance Management (PMDs))
  • Ensures consistent administration of established HR processes across business lines, actively identifies risks and opportunities utilizing data driven decision making and forecasting through the use of people analytics.
  • Responsible for ensure regulatory compliance programming is adhered to
Your Skills:
  • Strong leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working partnerships.
  • Strong communication, change managementamp; negotiation skills required. Solid analytical and organization skills a must.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of Business area objectives (ability to interpret Business Planning to identify long term Talent needs)
  • Solid understanding of Employment Law and standards in the jurisdiction they support
  • Experience working through Employee Relations matters and HR Investigations
  • May require understanding and experience in Labour Relations (dependent on Business area supported)
Your Experience:
  • Undergraduate Degree in a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience.
  • Experience in Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management, or a related field, is necessary for this role.
  • Knowledge of Organizational Effectiveness trends.
  • Experience working as an HR Strategic Partner developing Talent Strategies and People Plans
