Job Description

PILE DRIVING MANAGERWe are currently seeking applicants for the position of PILE DRIVING MANAGER to join our fast-paced, dynamic team in Saint John, New Brunswick. Reporting to the Director, of Asset Management, the Pile Driving Manager will be responsible for the achieving key performance measures and providing safety leadership.   • Provide project management and leadership to the on-site supervisors and staff of each project, while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships and developing plans to meet customer #39;s long-term expectations.
  • Actively seek out and pursue business opportunities through existing and potential customers, and tender sites.
  • Coordinate and meet with customers for site visits regularly and ensure job requirements are being met.
  • Identify gaps in the operations and build plans and processes to improve.
  • Monitor operationalamp; financial metrics to develop and implement initiatives for operational improvement and growth.
  • Oversee the execution of safety policies and procedures set by both the company and the customers and regulators to ensure all work is carried out in compliance.
  • Continually develop on-site team skills for succession planning to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained. Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring.
  • Work closely Safety, Compliance, HR, and other support functions to meet the goals of the operation.
  • Responsible for profits and losses for projects and working with your team to control costs.
  • Participate in annual budgeting and capital planning.
  • Additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education Required: Bachelor #39;s degree with concentration in Operations or Engineering, or Associate #39;s Degree with equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years #39; experience in a related industry; management experience in construction strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Piling and Deep Foundations.
  • Accounting Management experience.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certifications, or equivalent continuous improvement experience is an asset.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Track record of strong leadership, team building, organizational, and change management skills.
  • Experience in process management, quality assurance programs, and continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six-Sigma) are assets.
  • Action-orientated individual with the demonstrated ability to proactively combine interpersonal skills with strong technical acumen.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), and inventory management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in managing complex customer relationships.
  • Travel within Atlantic Canada may be required.
  • Valid driver #39;s license.
