Build something new with a world-class team.At Genesys, we allow our employees to make their mark by entrusting them to make decisions and do what they #39;ve been hired to do: their very best. Your potential is waiting; why are you:The Telephony Admin UI Team ( quot;TA UI Team quot;) builds and maintains the UI responsible for configuring telephony in Genesys Cloud. The Telephony Admin UI Team works with teams that manage cloud services as well as the Edge to provide telephony to Genesys #39; customers. It #39;s our job to provide a good user experience and to make this complex knowledge domain as understandable as we can to our customers.Senior Software Engineers ( quot;SSEs quot;) on the TA UI Team will be expected to be leaders and mentors for their peers and more junior developers. You will be expected to help lead projects (at least the UI side of multi-team full stack projects) as well as deliver high quality code on a timely schedule. SSEs are also expected to help with support cases when they come our way.SSEs need to have a strong JavaScript background. The TA UI Team does not work full stack, only on the front end. We are moving towards Angular/TypeScript. We still have legacy code using Knockout that we need to support and fix bugs in, but those views are being rewritten into Angular as fast as we are able. Therefore, strong multi-framework JavaScript (and TypeScript) skills are needed for this role. That being said, SSEs always need to keep learning. They need to keep up to date with the latest in web development, show pride in ownership of our repos and challenge the status quo when needed.A good sense of humor as well as willingness to participate in long discussions about droopy icons, page loading speed and components vs directives is also a big plus.Major Responsibilities/Activities:
