Job Description

YARD LABOURERWe are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Yard Labourer located in Saint John, NB. In this role, you will gain valuable field experience ensuring Sunbury #39;s fleet of trucks and trailers are outfitted with the required equipment and meet company standards. This is a great role for an action oriented and mechanically inclined individual looking for a hands-on role working with trucks, trailers, and related equipment.   • Transportation experience considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with heavy truck and trailer maintenance procedures/ mechanical inclination considered an asset.
  • Trade or Technology Diploma considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn.
  • Valid class 5 driver #39;s license with clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identification and correction of non-compliant brand standard and maintenance items.
  • Basic maintenance activities for trucks and trailers in yards throughout Southern New Brunswick.
  • Communicating major corrective actions to Maintenance Planners for corrective action.
  • Installation and troubleshooting selected equipment on trucks and trailers including GPS based tracking equipment, cameras, sensors, decals, and mud flaps.
