Job Description

THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the WINTER 2023 Semester for the DAYTIME– AEC program Graphic & Web Design GWD-14 (AEC-LCE-OZ) 9:00am -12:00pm, 12:30pm-2:30pm (February 13, 2023 to May 16, 2023).TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12)COURSE: 412-B14-ABTITLE: IllustrationHOURS: 60SECTION(S): one (1)N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.DISCLAIMER: Courses to be delivered in a hybrid format until further notice.GRAPHIC & WEB DESIGN (412)

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent* degree in Fine Arts
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be considered
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience directly related to the discipline of digital design / graphic arts
  • Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
  • Excellent English communication skills essential
  • Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems
In addition to above: a Digital art/design portfolio is encouraged.Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.Quick Apply
