Working in a residence is more than a professional experience, it is a life experience and rewarding responsibilities with a golden clientele! We offer stable hours, advantageous conditions and the opportunity to make a significant difference in the daily life of our residents.We are currently looking for a full time Cook (40h) every other weekend, creative and passionate, wishing to offer an exceptional culinary experience to residents.ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble plates of food
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
  • Create tasty menus while respecting the expected level of quality and the allocated budget
  • Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
  • Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Perform inventory duties, receive and store food for the kitchen
  • Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen
  • Perform other related duties
  • Plan and cook meals in accordance with the appropriate methods and standards
  • Take inventory of food products and place orders with suppliers
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Good team player
  • A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
