Candidates should promote a positive, purposeful and professional working atmosphere that encourages cooperation and challenge.Responsibilities and DutiesJob Skills Required:Candidates or the potential teachers of HERE AND NOW must understand the difficulty of language acquisition and must display a love for teaching. Candidates are expected to be passionate about the French language that serves to motivate and encourage students. French Teachers should be rabid Francophiles with a strong knowledge of French culture and history. Since most of the English vocabulary is derived from French, a good sense of English grammar and vocabulary is also helpful.Qualifications and SkillsRequired Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational qualification: B.A French or M.A French or DALF C1 or DFP B2
  • Familiarity with the CEFRL (common european framework of reference for languages).
  • Passion for teaching and commitment towards educating and treating a person as a whole than only as a language learner.
  • A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of the fellow human.
  • Consistent involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • Respect for all members of the institution, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background.
  • Previous experience working with language learning institutes is appreciated.
  • A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life.
  • Acceptable police checks (or equivalent) from the country of origin and from all other countries in which the applicant has worked and no question regarding suitability to work with children.
  • Appropriate references from current and previous employer, corroborated by personal phone calls made to each referee (for experienced candidates only)
