The operations planner is responsible for optimally planning the manufacturing operations of each of the manufacturing plants according to project demand and to criteria of delivery dates, availability of manufacturing requirements, production constraints and project priorities. The operations planner also has an important role as a central liaison between all departments in the operational chain.Share on :Main responsibilitiesCollaborate on a daily basis with the production manager to optimize the production master plan with capacity management, leveling of manufacturing hours and assignment of production batches per plant according to complexityMaintain and share up-to-date information on the production master plan with critical dates from the schedules sent by project managersAnalyze internal production capacity overruns with the production manager in order to develop possible operational strategies.
