Job Description

We’re looking for people who have local area knowledge of Salt Spring Island and will be versatile in the delivery industry.The pay range we’re offering will be based on billing percentage of the jobs being performed.

  • Dedicated Distribution runs (40-70 daily stops)
  • Delivery of Large oversized items (Heavy Weights)
Requirements:
  • Clean BC Driver’s abstract
  • Class 5 Drivers License with no restrictions (Recommended)
  • Clean Criminal Record Check - including clearance for youth at risk. (successful applicants will be reimbursed)
  • Valid Vehicle insurance with minimum 2 million liability.
  • Valid WCB #
  • Cell phone with a data plan.
  • Worksafe Approved Steel Toe Boots
  • Large mini Van, Cargo Van (preferred), 1 tonne Cube Truck
Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to lift up to 65lbs unassisted or up to 150lbs with a dolly.
  • Must be able to self organize for efficiency
  • Must be able to work extended hours during peak events.
  • Must be able to maintain cleanliness, appearance and upkeep maintenance of their vehicle
  • Must be able fill out daily paperwork
  • Must be able to use company apps correctly.
