Recreation Director domainMunicipality of WestLake-Gladstone location_onGladstone Recreation Director Employer: Municipality of WestLake-Gladstone Location: Gladstone, MB Application Deadline: TBDThe Municipality of WestLake-Gladstone is seeking an innovative, high performing, strategic and dynamic leader to join the executive team in this supervisory role.Tasks include:
  • Development and implementation of services and programs to enhance the Municipality’s cultural, artistic, recreational and social life
  • Budget planning, preparation and maintenance
  • Managing and Operation of Gladstone Swimming Pool
  • Managing a team of co workers and volunteers
  • Maintain a social media presence
  • Work closely with various community groups and organizations
Ideal Candidate will Possess:
  • Post Secondary Education in a related field
  • Finance experience
  • The ability to work in a demanding environment
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Must possess minimum class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must provide a current (within 6 months) criminal record check and adult and child abuse registry check upon request
