Job Description

Position Open To : Internal and External ApplicantsPosting Overview: The Lambton Kent District School Board, which is located throughout the Municipality of Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton, has 51 elementary and 12 secondary schools in operation.Prospective qualified elementary and secondary teachers, who are able to teach Core French/French Immersion, Ojibwe language and/or Lenape language on a daily or long term occasional basis are invited to apply. Qualifications/Experience: • Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification in the respective Division and subject area;• French qualifications required or must be enrolled in FSL; • Experience speaking the Ojibwe and/or Lenape language is required; • must be available to work 3-5 days/week; • must be available to work 10 months; • must be willing to travel throughout the Sarnia-Lambton and/or Chatham-Kent area.Application Instructions: Applicants should submit a cover letter and resume before 4:00 p.m. on the posting closing date.
