ÉCOLE WARMAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - ASSISTANT CARETAKER - PART-TIME - TEMPORARY Invites applications for the position of a part-time Assistant Caretaker at École Warman Elementary School.The successful candidate will be required to work 0.8125 FTE or 32.5 hours per week, performing general caretaking duties. Ecole Warman Elementary School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 school. The school is located in Warman, SK which is 22 km from Saskatoon. This CUPE position begins September 16, 2024.The starting salary for this position is $19.80 per hour.Prairie Spirit School Division is the largest rural school division in Saskatchewan, with over 11,500 students and 46 schools located in 28 communities surrounding the City of Saskatoon, and including three First Nations and nine Hutterian communities.Prairie Spirit has a dedicated team of professional and support staff serving pre-K to grade 12 studentsCaretakers work closely school staff to maintain the school building to the highest standards possible. Our caretaking staff are supported by the division Caretaking Supervisor.Preference will be given to caretakers who:
  • Have training and/or experience in the caretaker field;
  • Place a high premium on safety at all times;
  • Demonstrate a caring and supportive attitude toward children;
  • Value communication and collaborative relationships;
  • Are committed to being flexible in the workplace;
  • Are committed to positive working relationships.
