Job Description

Position: Carpenter / Concrete Finishers - Buffalo Pound Water Treatment PlantProject Type: Buffalo Pound Water Treatment PlantProject Location: Moose JawShift: DaySchedule: 10-4Rate: Journeyman Rate $38.39/hourExpected Project Completion Date: December 2024Accommodations: LOA - $135/Day WorkedTravel Details: Yes - 55 KM Radius + $30/Day WorkedGC: GrahamAllied Partner: Technical Workforce Inc.Reference Number: 16321Jardeg is currently recruiting for Concrete Finishers to work on the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant project near Moose Jaw, SK. Construction on this $273m project is expected to be completed in December 2024.As a Concrete Finisher you will:

  • Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces
  • Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
Requirements:
  • CSTS-2020 or SCOT
  • Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred)
  • Elevated Work Platform / Aerial Work Platform
  • Confined Space
  • registered Apprentice
  • Concrete Preference Preferred
  • Basic Survey and layout skills required
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
