Teach, coach and supervise nursing students in classroom, lab and mental health clinical settings.2. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.3. Participate in the development, maintenance and revision of curriculum.4. Work closely with the Psychiatric Nursing Program Head and other project team members.5. Participate in program, Campus, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, industry and professional or other stakeholder activities.6. Travel may be required.Specific AccountabilitiesDutiesRequired Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)1. Baccalaureate Degree in Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing or in related field.2. Eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan or the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses’ Association.3. Minimum of two years recent and relevant clinical/teaching experience with a focus on mental health and/or medical nursing.4. Excellent communication skills (oral and written).5. Effective interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.6. Effective instructional ability.7. Ability to apply the theory, practices and principles of psychiatric nursing and adult education.8. Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills.9. Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.10. Demonstrates valuing diversity.11.
