Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional programs that also support patient care and information, include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.About the Role:eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Analyst II to join the team and assist in the support of IT services that eHealth provides to health partners across Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Client Technology Services Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support eHealth’s Windows 10 application remediation efforts. This includes managing current state and assisting with solution design of future state. You will participate in creating application packages and writing process documentation. Other responsibilities include preparing status reports, managing issue escalations, and streamlining application intake. This individual will possess excellent customer service skills along with strong technical and leadership abilities, be detailed oriented, take pride in their work and enjoy the challenges that go with it.What are we looking forThe successful candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced and technology driven environment. Proven experience and skills in effective communication, leadership, problem solving, documentation standards, a rigor for change management protocols and quality control are also required.To qualify for this position you must demonstrate you have knowledge and experience in the following:

  • Windows Server Administration
  • Windows Desktop Administration
  • Application Management
  • Virtualization Technologies
  • Change management
Knowledge or experience in the following areas would be an asset for this position:
  • Microsoft SCCM/MECM
  • VMware Horizon and AppVolumes
  • Zero/Thin Client Management
  • Group Policy Management
  • Active Directory Management
  • The Saskatchewan Health IT sector
Foundational knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of post-secondary degree or diploma related to Information Technology. In addition, you will have at least 5 years of experience working in an enterprise class IT environment.CompetenciesCommunication:
  • Ability to write/create and communicate (verbal and written), explain or present (technical or non-technical) information to wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals and/or groups in a clear, accurate and understandable manner. Material may include, but is not limited to: user, systems and requirements documentation and procedures, project plans, letters, requests for proposals, feasibility studies, recommendations and reports, at a level appropriate to the target group.

  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, monitor, adjust and implement projects, including facilitating a group process to successfully implement technological change and business transition within the organization, taking into consideration numerous and changing priorities, and or resources to achieve project goals.

  • Ability to identify, explore and evaluate options on processes and methodologies and information technology solutions in order to design new business systems and develop feasible recommendations.
  • Ability to diagnose, extract, recall, synthesize, conceptualize and apply ideas, processes and information to incorporate new technology and diagnose technical problems(delays, malfunctions, and errors) in order to determine the true cause of the problem and to create new solutions in a constantly changing technological and business environment within a reasonable time frame.

  • Ability to build cooperative working relationships with coworkers and clients to ensure credibility and confidence in services provided as well to build capacity in client’s knowledge and ability to use and apply services.

  • Ability to independently prioritize and organize one’s own workload to meet tight deadlines and successfully complete projects in changing environment. (A bit of project management involved)

  • Solid understanding and expertise implementing and supporting application installations in a large Microsoft Windows environment.
