At an individual level, this is captured in annually reviewed work arrangements with the on-going objective to balance operational requirements with employee individual circumstances and work preference.In the context of Employment and Social Development Canada #39;s mandate, most positions are identified as either onsite or hybrid (combination of onsite and offsite work). At ESDC, employees who fall within the hybrid work category report onsite a minimum of two days per week (40% of their regular work schedule), as determined by operational requirements. Prior to appointment, the hiring manager will discuss with the successful candidate(s) the options and/or specifics as it pertains to the work arrangement.Intent of the processThe intent of this process is to create a bilingual (French/English) PM-01 pool of qualified candidates to staff positions within Service Canada in BC, AB, SK, MB, YT, NWTamp; NU.This pool could also be used to staff similar bilingual (French/English) positions of various tenures within Employment and Social Development Canada in the Western/Territories (W-T) Region.In order to manage the number of applications in this selection process, management may apply top-down and/or random selection at any stage throughout the process.HOW THIS INVENTORY WORKS:Initial draw date will be December 4, 2023.
