Job Description

RoleReporting to the Division Manager, the Field Area Manager is responsible to facilitate for the Division Manager establishing and executing strategic plans, policies and field construction activities of the company in his/her assigned area. This role facilitates the implementation of company’s priorities and objectives for its team. The Field Area Manager sets crew’s schedule and oversees the operations and deliverables of Rising Edge Technologies (for his/her assigned area) while establishing key long-term relationships with business partners. This role is also focused on the continuous improvement of company’s business model in order to maximize productivity and growth. The Field Area Manager is accountable for the operations of Field Construction, Field Commissioning, Trucking and Shop personnel.Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of resources and equipment.
  • Provide input and assist with creation and execution of site-specific work plans and schedules.
  • Manage logistics of all company owned assets as well as materials.
  • Review and provide direction of various accounting functions.
  • Manage and maintain company owned assets.
  • Manage employees to support company and personal goals.
  • Manage area project-specific and client requirements.
  • Facilitate and manage the overall environment for work performance and productivity in the area.
  • Ensure the efficient allocation and utilization of resources and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of resource allocation and usage.
  • Continuously evaluate resource needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement cost-effective solutions to maximize resource efficiency.
  • Provide recommendations and insights to senior management regarding resource allocation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to resource management.
Requirements
  • Journeyperson Electrician or diploma in electrical engineering preferred.
  • High regard to safetyamp; safety culture
  • 5+ years of experience in an operations and/or supervisor role required
  • At minimum 5 years of High Voltage or utility industry experience required
  • The ability to travel to field sites
  • High admiration to quality and familiarity with quality programs
  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail required
  • Ability to use general office equipment effectively
  • Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
  • Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
