Peter Lucas Project Management is a group of energetic and curious problem-solvers; we are currently looking for a subcontractor to fill a Mechanical Technologist role within our team. At Peter Lucas (located within Treaty 6 Territory and Homeland of the Metis), we believe in creating an environment where everyone can find success in a career they are passionate about. This role will be on a rotational basis working two weeks on, two weeks off out of Northern Saskatchewan.As the Mechanical Technologist you are responsible for:- Performing mechanical design work using 3D modeling tools (AutoCad Plant 3D and 3D Point Cloud) to develop 3D models, 2D drawings on various projects.- Working with mechanical engineers in support of development of intelligent P amp;IDs, 3D modelling, piping and general arrangements, HVAC and other mechanical design drawings.- Developing BOMs and construction work packages- Performing inspections of piping, tanks, structures, HVAC system,amp; other mining equipment as required.- Managing the site engineering documentation through vault and/or site document filing system.- Performing/managing small projects as necessary whenever required.Site personnel will provide support to the qualified Mechanical technologist as and when required.Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Peter Lucas Project Management is an equal-opportunity employer.
