Job Description

Oxford College is seeking an Academic Administrator for its Head Office location to fill a multi-faceted role with responsibility for providing administrative support specifically within the department of academics. Tasks may range from routine to specific project based. Under general supervision, develop and create each trimesters schedule of programs. Provide systems training and support to all campuses.Job Responsibilities

  • Create schedules for new cohorts and input into the system
  • Fix schedules and errors in schedules on a consistent basis
  • Provide support to all campuses for any schedule related concerns or issues
  • Directly and independently work with campus managers and program coordinators in the development and modification of special course scheduling and accommodation
  • Provide access codes to campuses for textbook resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide timely and accurate reports related to educational programs and services in accordance with prescribed timeframes.
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement in programs and services by promoting the pursuit of excellence in all College practices related to academic learning and teaching.
  • Work collaboratively with the College teaching and learning leaders to ensure the provision of quality education programs and adherence to teaching and learning academic policies and procedures.
  • Manage online testing platforms.
  • Allocate resources to instructors and students for effective program delivery.
  • Track and measure KPIs related to academics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, humanities, or a related field required.
  • Effectively work with multiple databases and student platforms.
  • Creative, innovative, able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new and rapidly changing situations.
  • Experience in collecting and handling sensitive information in the strictest confidence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
