We have part-time and full-time opportunities in our retail stores.We are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should be able to work various shifts. Note: this position’s compensation includes salary and tips.Palgong Tea is currently hiring baristas for Toronto Zoo location.Positions available· Barista/Cashier – $14.25/hourRequired qualifications· Fluency in English· Driver's license with clean driving record mandatory - G-license required· Well-developed interpersonal skills· Ability to work within a team environment· Able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks while maintaining composure during busy hours· A proactive approach and ability to build customer relations and with a passion to serve customers· Able to learn quickly· Flexibility to work various shifts· Basic math skills· Excellent communication skills· Available to work at least 40 hours per week (full-time)· Available to work at least 20 hours per week (part-time)Responsibilities include, are but limited to:· Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients· Provide exceptional customer service experience· Comply with health and safety regulations· Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items· Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs· Keep the bar area clean· Handling cash and card payments· Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)· Prepare beverages following recipesExperience· Hospitality/Food and Beverage – 1 year (preferred)· Customer Service – 1 year (preferred)Education· Secondary School (Preferred)Application deadline: 2021-07-11Expected start date: 2021-07-10Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $14.25 per hourAdditional pay:
